  1. It wasn't a shield as such, but that decayed MCS which traversed a lot of rain out of france into the channel. All the storms were to the west of it :(
  2. Calling it a bust for East Kent compared to what was expected! Looks like that huge mass of rain from an OLD MCS did some damage to the potential. Whereas West of us faired better
  3. You don't see this very often in the UK, a mass of thunder storms across the channel!
  4. I haven't seen this many strikes across the channel for awhile!
  5. Le Havre is kicking off, which is across the channel from the South East :D
  6. Humidity has shot up, and the sun is beaming! Good sign that as I don't like if it is cloudy all day :p
  7. Check this out! That's a lightning strike every second https://www.weatherandradar.co.uk/weather-map?center=16.38,-11.04&zoom=9.31&layer=lr
  8. BBC/MET mentioning the chance of thunder and lightning tonight, any truth in that? :)
  9. The forecast I had from yesterday evening, had the line from the Pennines all the way down into South East Kent. However today it was further east than that and into East Anglia
  10. Convergence line seems to be in the wrong place again, something the met keep getting wrong :p
