  1. If I remember correctly, back in the 90's before the great Easterly, there was a lot of high pressure and dense FOG. Something most winters have been lacking. So just maybe a settled high would be a good thing?
  2. Amazing snow up north! Especially when the met office on the day said " Wintry Showers " , so yeh this winter is turning out very different 407442279_192467300522835_4740080893216852224_n.mp4
  3. Well Cumbria just had a foot of snow, and the forecast said " Showers in the west may turn wintry " I still hold firm that the models don't have a clue what's going to happen beyond a few days, that is a lot of cold air to shift!
  4. Well here in Kent they forecasted " Wintry Showers ", and I woke up to around 2CM of snow on the ground..........
  5. Although there was no warning for last nights snow either in East Kent, they just said "Wintry Showers". I saw a lot of gritters on the road last night, and it was chucking it down around 2am and gave a fair covering :)
  6. 1CM here, 2CM just slightly higher up.. Started around 2am-3am :) 10000000_7164749170272897_2281531542554812551_n.mp4
  7. Not sure if there will be any snow tonight, but gritters are out in force tonight!! Drove past three on my way home. So must be something coming other than just Ice?
  8. But they weren't nailed on this low pressure, so how can they be nailed for an entire month ahead?????????
  9. Well, these pro's weren't very confident of one low pressure system that has caused chaos this week! But they are fortune tellers and can be confident of the weather ahead? We only have to go back abit and see FI/ENS didn't forecast this cold spell very well at all!
  10. Not sure how people are able to forecast the end of the cold spell when every single day just one low pressure system has caused complete chaos! First it was crossing the UK, then the south, then just clipping the south east, now it's going into France.
  11. And even that looks mostly of rain, where's this BOOM coming from?
  12. GFS looks messy!! It's like it's struggling to get a handle on this and can be discounted for the time being
  13. An interesting end to Autumn on the cards, it came in wet, and looks set to end on a rather cold note and fairly dry note. Sounds about right ^
  14. Hey all, can someone post some charts for this weekend? ( Important ) Thank you :)
  15. And last nights forecast said " Showers clipping the south east but clearing away by early morning " So much for that!
  16. Unbelievable amount of rain in this part of kent, far more than last year!! Anyone have the latest stats?
  17. This is way worse than last year for the amount of rain in such a short amount of time... It's relentless!!
