    Has anyone explained why those storms were so active and why they developed in such a line that they did? We had the odd isolated storm across the south east then they decayed rapidly and then that happened

    Sure did, one impressive one as well... But it was very hazy and patchy, was not expecting it from such a cloud

    Thunderstorm towards Canterbury/Herne Bay. Heard the rumble, looked outside and a growing tower

    That storm caused fires and power cuts, it knocked out power towards Herne. The lightning was C-C and C-G, ill hopefully have the video up today

    Most amazing storms for many years here! But my question for the experts, why did the beeb met office bang on about storms going up the western side, with a chance of storms further east. Yet it turned out more severe towards midlands and the south east? The charts were all over the place Harry You should've seen the storm going up east kent, towards Dover... That was a powerful beast

    WOW WOW WOW Holy Bleep! Best storm for years here, got some amazing footage!!! It was like american style, the only thing that was missing was a Tornado

    Not much chance of storms here with this weather at the moment! It's blowing a cool breeze and it's also hazy, doesn't feel humid at all

    I thought it was supposed to be feeling humid again today, with increasing humidity through the day.... Yet here it's hazy with a cool wind blowing? Nothing about that on the forecast all week
