    In my walk today I noticed some of the upper cloud had a mammatus like effect on the underside, that I guess would indicate instability?

    Is anyone else sick and tired of this North East wind? I've counted at least two weeks of it so far in total this summer and still it drags on! Why are North East winds so dominant in summer but not so in Winter?

    BBC - But after the warm weather of this week.. WHAT BLOODY WARM WEATHER? It's been three days of cold and cloud, two days of 13C!

    To be honest for once in a blue moon I'm just glad to get rid of this awful north east wind and cloud, 12/13c does not make a good summer. It's great in winter if it brings snow, but at no other time is it liked.

    This weather SUCKS, the most awful thing about living near the coast in the south east, is once that wind goes north east, you're in for a naff period of weather
