  1. Just the one shower so far, to coincide with a cheese toastie. Back to bright and breezy digging now, as the heavier stuff passes to the West.
  2. Don't believe it. Just checked the birding blogs and found this message from yesterday... Then time checked it with my message to the OH from when I was walking back to the car from Lytchett bay.
  3. No Sea Eagles , no Ospreys; but a few Marsh Harriers, plus various other wetland birds. Nice spot though and met some nice people at the lookouts. Rain started at 3ish, but I'd picked up the OH from shopping by then and we were back drinking tea at our pals house.
  4. Down at Lytchett bay this morning, on the look out for White Tailed Eagles again. Bright enough and breezy
  5. jy It's clearing now, so going to sit in the Sunshine and listen to the mighty Saints. Can't believe Rotherham beat anyone. I'm from Rotherham originally, so always keep an eye on what they're up to. Usually nothing.
  6. *Stormforce~beka* no doubt jy turning up tomorrow offering to sort your garden out. Proper rain out there atm.
  7. It's been decent enough this afternoon. Sunny spells and warm when the Sun does shine. Off next week, but it looks like we'll be dodging the weather.
  8. Overcast start to the day, but the Sun is trying to break through. Might take a while looking at the cloud that's built up in the channel. Just seen my first swallow of the year.
  9. Faint halo has appeared in the last ten mins and the high cloud associated with it has meant a drop off in temps. Gone all the way now...
  10. Cracking afternoon. Knocked off our jobs early to light the BBQ and make the most of it before it vanishes.
  11. Beautiful first thing. A few clouds bubbling up now, but it's still lovely. Nice and warm too in the Sun too.
  12. Absolutely tonking it down. Hail too. Looked like it was fizzling out on the radar, then it pepped up out of nowhere. Literally just got some grass seed down and covered it in compost. Blue skies out West, so it'll be lovely in a bit. Bought BBQ stuff for tomorrow, or Sunday.
  13. A bit of the squall line is just coming through now. Must be a tree down in the lane, as a couple of cars have doubled back and are going out the other way.
  14. I know we've had some shockers in the last few months, but today feels like the worst. It's been vile out there this morning.
