Annoying blue sky. When will something good happen.

Cold, cloudy and windy this morning, but then it brightened up for a while. The winds died down and the sun came out so it was relatively pleasant. Alas this was not to last as after about 40 minutes the cloud came back and the winds picked up. I see slivers of blue sky now and it is still quite windy.

It's snowing!!! I feel like a little kid again.

cold, wet but there are bits of snow on the ground. Cloudy aswell.

Sunny, cool and still...extremely still, i don't think there is any wind here.

Whoever wrote that forcast should check their calender. They put 'with no other major events'. Did no-one remember remberance day??

Cloudy, wet and windy, but it has brightened up slightly since this morning. Haven't ventured outside yet I'm pretty happy where I am.

I'm very sensitive to temperature anyway, the slightest breeze makes me cold, and the last few days I have been freezing, even with the heating on. Anyway we just had a heavy yet short shower and now it is back to blue sky with patchy cloud. I should take the dogs out before it rains again.

Agree with you Bottesford, there is certainly a slight chill in the air. But for the main part it is sunny, no visible cloud from where I'm sitting and vry warm in the sunshine.

It was raining really heavily but it seems to have eased of now it's just cloud cover. It was very windy too but that's died down aswell.

I hate it when it is really warm like high 20's. I don't like the feeling of being sticky and it makes me so tired. I had hot nights too because i can't sleep. I love snow because when it falls it is lovely. It is white and is a proper christmas scene (even if it isn't christmas). I know it sounds wierd but seeing snow makes me happy. I like wrapping up in scarves and gloves. I also like rain. I like being inside in the warm when it is tipping it down outside and i think of all the poor people stuck outside. I went to New Zealand last february and it was 28 degrees most days. I would have given anything to be back home where the snow was (even though it was nowhere near cornwall). But i had to watch it on the news instead. My friend even offered to put some snow in the freezer for me to make a mini snowman (thats how sad i am). <_<

sorry maybe that was slightly exaggerated they still said it was going to be warm. Any way back on topic i don't know if it will be a white xmas and the the odds arent high for where i live.

It is though! They thought it would be the warmest summer on record but it wasn't very warm was it?

Hello my internet hasn't been working over the weekend. I'm glad you have proved my boyfriend wrong. I did say that i don't care about global warming but maybe that is overstated. I do care and i try to do my best like turning off lights and recycling but it's not going to make a dent if America and China don't join in. That is what annoys me.

Hmmm ok the post buggered up. This is what he says:- If you do the research, here is what you'll find: 1) carbon dioxide is clear and colourless, meaning it can't reflect wavelengths 2) water vapor makes up 99% of greenhouse gasses (aka CLOUDS!!!) 3) heat CAUSES carbon dioxode gas release 4) if you look at graphs with timelines you'll find that changes in temperature are several hundred years ahead of carbon dioxide release 5) an ice age was predicted for now instead if global warming by weatherolygists 6) during the industrial revolution (HIGH amount of co2 in the atmosphere) it was several degrees colder than previous years. also WE ARE RECOVERING FROM AN ICE AGE! OF COURSE THE TEMPERATURE IS GOING TO RISE!

Actually this is my boyfriend's conspiracy theory! I'm fed up of him tyelling me so i told him to tell the people who actually cared what he thought.

I really couldn't care about global warming. But some facts are still distorted. First carbon dioxide is not an insulator therefore it cannot stop UV rays! Secondly carbon dioxide is affected by heat not the other way round so all those graphs are wrong. Also the earth goes through regular periods of warming and cooling. 50 years ago people believed we were going into an ice age because the earth was cooling. The ige caps have melted and reformed before it is a natural process. We may be speeding it up but it's gonna happen anyway.
