    What a lovely autumnal day! Currently clear with some hazy cloud and sunshine, but a chill in the air. It was nice to see drops of water on tops of cars this morning, that wasn't rain!

    There's no such date as the 23nd. Just thought I'd tell you. It's overcast here today, but not too chilly which is nice. Quite sad that we are going to miss out on the rain. Although maybe it is a good thing because I forgot my umbrella.

    Chilly start again this morning, and a bit damp in places. It is brilliant blue sky, but it gets foggier the further you go into Bristol City Centre.

    This is really interesting! Having been to New Zealand I just don'r associate it with snow. I have relatives from there and they say that one of the reasons they moved from England was because of the snow! But they are in Auckland so it doesn't sound like they were too badly hit.

    It's totally overcast here now, which is a bit sad. I haven't been outside yet so I don't know what the temp is like.

    Chilly this morning, I could see my own breath. But it is nearly total blue sky with just a few wispy bits of cloud so it should warm up pretty fast I think.

    Cloud and a bit dull. There was a breeze this morning. Although BBC forcast rain for around lunchtime but from what I've seen there haasn't been any rain as of yet.

    You like tennis a bit too much, Dartmoor Matt. It was lovely and frosty here this morning, with the tops of bins and cars all white, and paths that were untouched by sun were very slippery! Looking good for the next few days for some colder weather. though it does mean the heating has to go back on .

    Don't lose hope! Canada has started to get going again. And the blobs over Scotland are still there!

    Oooh, nice big new patch in north east Canada, and Scandinavia is starting to fill out. Although I think CH will be a bit upset that you put the picture up first liltbrockie. Edit: Actually I'm not sure that is today's. It looks awfully similar to the one AdamJones posted two days ago. Unless the snow in Scandinavia and Canada melted, and then came back in exactly the same place...

    We are going to put it on within the next couple of days in our haouse. Just starting with half an hour in the morning to take the chill away. Damn student houses!

    I would like the best of both worlds. A clear crisp morning, sunny with a light frost, or even layer of snow. I will go out and walk through the cornish country side with my dogs, with my gloves and hat on. Get home and put the fire on, when the cloud starts building around 2/3 o'clock and we then have some lovely snow showers whilst enjoying dinner with my family. Perfect

    It's very light here now. Thanks Dartmoor_Matt! Walking through 9 inches sounds incredibly fun. We have ice under our snow so it's going to be fun trying to get to the bus stop. I'm thinking of purchasing myself some crampons just in case!

    It's a big mix of really big flakes and tiny ones, nut it is modrately heavy. Quite suprised we had a couple of inches last night, I was scared it would turn to rain/sleet. UWE is still open though so I still have to do my exam today booo, but it's the last one so in about 8 hours I'll be a bit pished!

    Especially when people start exams! It can be as heavy as it wants from 3 o'clock on wednesday onwards, I don't care if I get snowed in for two weeks! But not before.

    This is the only time I'm not wishing for snow! I don't want my exams cancelled after i have spent so long stressing about them! After that it can snow all it wants, at least I'll have time to go and play in it. Looks good though.

    I work for Tesco's , but only on checkouts. I do see the drivers come in at the end of their shifts around 10pm looking so tired but at least the vans are warm! They are trying around here and at least the buses are going again.

    Even though it's perfect blue sky and the sun's out, there is very little melting even on the roofs. Just had a lovely walk to the shops, in the snow.
