    Glorious sunshine, though there are clouds coming in. There was no thaw last night but I think it has started early today.

    Thankyou! I'm a uni student but most of us still have to travel to our part time jobs, if we want to eat! Don't tar everyone with the same brush! Not having lectures is actually rather detrimental to my studies.

    Stopped now, the paths are all icy and mushy. It looks so much prettier when you are watching out the window but walking in the damn stuff is hard! But luckily I didn't get stuck in a snowdrift.

    Urm I'm already getting tired. It's terrible. Monday was great, watching the snow and then waking up to white on tuesday! Thursday my Uni had a snow day which was a first for me so I enjoyed it. Today is another whiteout but it doesn't spark the the little kid in me. If this carries on into next week I will get really annoyed because I need the lecturers help to understand things at uni and I can't do that if they are stuck in snow drift!

    I totally agree. For years I have been waiting for a good snow event, when it finally happens it doesn't want to stop! Getting a bit heavier but still not sticking.

    I think it is sleet here, it is sliding down the car windows.

    Beeb and MetO say sleet for bristol. Channel 4 say snow. I think it's snow at the moment.

    I have found something I don't like about snow (!). The ignorant, stupid little boys who thinks its funny to throw snowballs at me (they don't even know me) and at the buses. If I was driving the bus I would honk the horn and scare the bejesus out of them. But honestly I think I am all snowed out! The virgin snow is still holding up quite well, only a slight melt. Really though more snow into friday and saturday is a bit much!

    I'm at 72hrs too but the head has fallen off. I think I'm gonna stay in my PJ's for a while though.

    ^^ Some people think there will be Another hit on saturday but maybe not as bad. I think we will just have to wait and see. I might actually be snowed out after this . Snow getting a bit heavier now. Are all the buses in bristol stopped?
