    Have impressive drifting here wind is really picking up, snow has got much lighter now though. Will try and put pics up tomorrow. Heard about a lot of chaos on the roads of North Wales this evening. Overturned cars, cars abandoned, cars in fields, 10 mile journeys taking 3 hours and so on.

    sure is amazing. Had another 3 inches early this morning, and another 7-8 inches this afternoon. Some of the drifts are very very deep now. I got stuck in my Nissan Navara 2.5 litre diesel for the first time earlier. Neighbour in his tractor had to pull me out of a drift, all ood fun. Although we have had 2 power cuts, but got plenty of chopped logs and fuel for the generator.

    Very heavy snow here still, massive flakes. Its snowing right down to sea level in North Wales. The beaches are white!

    Very heavy snow here in NE Wales, and it was very heavy this morning here. Have very deep snow and large drifts.

    Yeah, we have about a foot of snow here. Another 2-3 inches has fell this afternoon. Fell as snow down in the higher western parts of Mold also. A494 Mold the Rhuthun road at Gwernymynydd was closed earlier while the it was ploughed and gritted.

    Blwyddyn newydd dda i bawb ar netweather! Temperature is down to -6.4C at the moment. Currently around 10 inches of snow which has frozen hard, its hard to tell as it drifted a lot. Max temperature yesterday was -2.1C. Going for a walk in the mountains soon where there is rumored to be 18 inches of snow above 500m

    Always going to be marginal for Bangor in a setup like this due to proximity to the sea and low altitude. I suspect several miles inland along the A5 it will be snow. A freind who lives on high ground near Betws y Coed has a couple of cm's of snow. Bangor could see more in the way of snow as the colder air digs in

    Where about are you? Higher ground in Northwest Wales has been getting snow for most of the day.

    snow has been heavy for past 45 minutes now. A fresh 4cm from today snow so far

    Have had light snow, graupel and tiny ice pellets on and off all day here. Snow is now a bit heavier as the backedge of this front moves through. Hopefully see some heavier snow later. Another Ice day here, got to a max of -0.4C. Snow from before Christmas still hasn't gone and lots of ice around.

    visibility dropped to 50m now, light wet snow still falling

    Light snow here, very wet though. It turns to sleet at 250m ASL then rain at 150m ASL. There has been a partial thaw here today, biggest thaw since snow started on the 1st of Feb. Current temp is 0.4C

    Yeah, We had another couple of cm's last night and started snowing again mid morning and is still going giving another couples of cm's. Very light now though. As you say there are some massive drifts around. What hills did you go up? I was up several of the Clwydians yesterday cutting fallen trees and branches.

    Has been snowing again here for the last hour and a bit. Was heavy for a time but has eased off a bit now.

    Not sure about Halkyn but can imagine its pretty bad over there. Roads are impassable here unless you have a 4x4 or tractor.

    Moderate snow on and off all day. About 7cm lying snow with some impressive drifting. Snow has go heavier in last hour.

    Had snow flurries all day yesterday that only collected against walls and so on. Had a bit overnight giving a covering of 5cms with drifts to 10cms. Reports of snow right down to sea level in North Wales.

    Light snow flurries on and off all afternoon. Several days worth of frost and Snow from a few days ago still on all surfaces too. Temp hasn't risen above 0c for several days now.
