This is finlands metoffice warning system. Much easier to read. Clickable areas that expand and explain warnings in more detail. Our metoffice could learn a thing or two from this layout

That’s very similar to the European weather alert system.

I find AccuWeather app is spot on. It’s postcode/geolocation based and they often put out the notification before it goes live on the metoffice website.

Looks like the convergence line is setting up in the Irish Sea temps and dewpoints look good I would expect a dusting in pembrokeshire tonight as the band of showers moves onshore. Just depends how intensive they become for snow depths. I would imagine the preselis will be covered.

There was a light dusting over the Cwmcerwyn this morning.   Feeling colder today for a change!

Latest GFS still has the Dangler tomorrow, rain / sleet likely at first low levels, but likely snow later in the day, particularly away from immediate coast.

GFS showing some more disruptive snow showers / streamers into North Wales on Thursday.

Wednesdays low still staying south on latest runs but wouldn’t be surprised if there was some light snow or flurries further ahead of the front. Not what we want but…

We’ve gone from a warning of something to nothing here over most of the west now.  For all the ramping of much colder conditions from Sunday, it’s become a much slower transition.  The frosts fizzled out since last Thursday. Paths are drying now too.

I’d take it over a return to wet and windy though!
