very very strong winds here since about 4am. Didn't even know this was forecast , so was a bit surprised. Wind currently buffeting the side of the house , fearing for the aerial and the roof tiles

Here's hoping it stays intact and puts on a good show in the pre dawn skies

Anyone see the news on this comet? http://spaceweather.com/ seems to have survived its plunge towards the sun , and is being described as the brightest sungrazing comet ever seen by the SOHO spacecraft. Also a chance it may become visible in the sky next to the sun.
