    Mad weather in this part of scotland this afternoon. Was on a bus going through Tranent (East Lothian) and saw what i think was a funnel cloud over Prestonpans way. Got into Musselburgh and got off about 1pm , the next hour was crazy. Heavy torrential rain , constant thunder of which some sounded like a bomb going off and quite a bit of lightning overhead. Some of the roads turned into rivers for a time and alot of drains where choked.

    nothing here yet but very dark to the SW , presumebly the edinburgh cell. Looking across the water there are tonnes of cells , keeping my eyes peeled to the north and north west

    Absolutely insane period of rain here between 3.30am and 4am , got woken up by it. Dont think ive ever seen rain of that intensity , extremely heavy and easily heard hitting the roof even though the window was shut. Back Garden was completely flooded , although is fine now. Strangely enough no Thunder of Lightning associated with it.

    looks to be a storm just crossing into scotland now , being tracked by the greenlaw station atm. Edit : Weak atm , a total of 46 strikes with 1 strike per minute.

    been raining for most of the morning here , noticibly cooler aswell. Currently 14C , with a Humidity of 94%

    Pretty cloudy with some showers , a moderate one went through about 15 mins ago. Temperature is 18.2C , Humidity 85%

    lol , i mean the weather looks good. And yes i am able to see it here at moonrise (albeit low) , as im in central scotland , its only the far north of scotland that will miss out.
