Completely overcast for the last three hours, maxed out at 31°C shortly before that. Now 25.8°C and a hint of brightness. Absolutely no ppn had reached the ground here in spite of what the radar is showing.

Is there light at the end of this grey tunnel?

Showers all came through us today, drizzly to start late morning and increased in intensity and frequency this afternoon and early evening.

I hadn't been expecting the raft of showers that passed through here today. Started around 10 this morning and still going now, albeit much lighter this evening. Definitely cooler.

Last 24 hours (to 09.00 GMT) total of 38.8mm which is the highest 24 hour June total in my record (2000). That makes June total thus far 70.9mm which is already above the June average of 58.4mm. Stopped raining around 24 hours after it started, currently grey with a hint of brightness.

The last 12 hours of non stop rain have produced just shy of 25mm.

Still raining here, seems to be going one way and then coming back again. Measured 9.3mm to 16.00 (from 10.00), may venture out and check again when it's the full 12 hours!

Six hours now of steady, gentle rain doing the garden a power of good.

Steady light rain here since about 8.30, but OH has been about three miles as the crow flies to the south and has had none up to half an hour ago. Yesterday's total amounted to 3.6mm.

Still rumbling, but more distant and to NE, some rain but light and patchy.

I've just heard it too, Mike, no rain yet, although showing well on radar.
