No really big hills tbh compared to other people ide say 600 to 800 ft to the north (north downs ) say 500 to 700ft to sw ( green sand ridge ) but im river level really Tonbridge to Maidstone..say about 150 ft ..I'm in sort of no man's land ,too near coast for home grown showers ,to far inland for convergence...but a front is a different kettle of fish from north ..south ..west ..long as it holds up ...we get something )

I did and what a relief.last Saturday and this Wednesday night I'm over the moon ,when it comes to showers I know its hit and miss but tbh I don't have much luck with them..fronts yea ..lovely if they hold themselves together

Showers are not by any means SE as a whole as you know ..frontal rain yea I get it Showers..then thats dangerous ..Tarring everyone with same storm ..people take averages to keep it simple ..its never ever that simple.. Ps your great netweather person and dont ever think im being arrogant or trying to be antagonistic..I'm so glad you actually disagree..because if we all go along with each other then its not what you are experiencing its keeping the peace..thats not good if you got a different opinion..ide be first to back you up ..so please don't think im being funny or nothing ,I love your input the morethat do it the better

19% here all Saturday I guess ...like oasis it was ..in a dry spell

Watch the radar its laughable ..so just east of me other side of Maidstone what died out picked up strength ,straight down the A20 /M20 ..what we done to deserve that ..think im going to be on a hosepipe ban forever and ever and ever ..its warm its blue and little cool breeze ..perfect ..unless you like a bit of convection...then its game over ..blimey I do moan but its true..

To be honest I'm not where I am usually but sometimes you think ? Hang on if I'm there its over there if I'm over there its here ..to the point plays on your mind,coincidence I guess with frequency:) Like opposite to I said before ..like a little black cloud with lightning in cartoons ..but the exact opposite..maybe I'm just a little high pressure lol

Done a houdini ..got a way with zilch ..thats why I loved Saturday just gone, ..showers they are not ever where I am for sure

Oh what a day Saturday..absolutely magnificent..an afternoon and Evening of steady ish rain..old school ..I couldn't really miss it for a change.. ..needed that ...heavy showers breaking breaking out now but as you can see im in dry slot as usual but that's hope we get the steady as goes rain behind it ..unless it dies out ..and as if by magic i have the light rain bit ..heavy to north then heavy to the south but here ..light gap ..

Yea your right ..its a different direction at all different levels by the looks here anyway ..towards Maidstone its really menacing. But nothing here in east Tonbridge ..can you see the spin ..all the bigger clouds are doing it

I know where the luck is then ..are you at the end of the rainbow ..:) The clouds here are fantastic ..beautiful even, but nothing out of them wet wise buts its visibly spinning like last nights

Just to say how dry south east London and north west Kent is ..this is in Swanley..but its all the same ..so i dont know how it can be a wet month at all if it is its ran away because it hasn't soaked in for sure ... 20230720_103740.mp4

Zoomed in geo wise ..she's started to spin . ..thats why I had a few dollops .. secondary flow that is ..some call it convergence

Got a heavy shower up North of me but as usual its where I should have been but not and where I am ,not usually (at home)nothing tell a lie got 5 big big dollops must be building south..a tad

First time I've seen a high level rainbow ..it nearly was a full circle ..in the high clouds ..never seen that before ..but maybe I never looked for one up there

Ten minute shower in Orpington.. about 11 am lovely cloudscapes but within 20 minutes dry as a bone again ..then nothing ..not really hot, not really cold, not really wet ,not really dry ..middling ..I call it ..

I wouldnt put my bottom quid on it ..we just don't seem to get it here ..like our good lady in Dover says ..nothing really ,but dirty great low sitting relatively close to us (for wind ,it should have had more precipitation) but still really got hardly nothing out out of it ,minimal out of it tbh ,but it looks like autumn but with green leaves

Its gorgeous with hot sun and wind ... just hold on to the table cloth if your outside or double peg the gazebo...other than that its lovely here
