  1. Well dry if a little chilly this morning and still dry at end of play this evening..if a tad chilly still ,April is a fickle month cold and hot all in one month ..its the darling buds of May I love ...this is looking west across to Sevenoaks this evening...the hills are the greensand ridge above ground and the Hythe beds sub surface:)
  2. Suns out nearly ..and we had fair bit of rain but we had fair bit of no rain so its a lot then nothing ,a lot then nothing again ,seems the way its going, gusty winds ,nothing really was it ,just a short wave to say hello ,if it had kept its depth from mid Atlantic then then yea we would be picking up bits from everywhere but it luckily filled a tad ...
  3. OK .. I see the point, but relatively safe ..for the moment, whatever happens or happened here somewhere else gets it ten fold worse ,Im not saying nothing ever ever happens but minor to other places ,which is good, dont you think ? Look round the world some proper proper bad things happen ,relatively speaking
  4. If an alien came to talk to me and said I've seen some gruesome images of your atmosphere, hurricanes tornadoes droughts fires sweltering temperatures, massive hail, dodgy lightning, ide say tell you what ,if you don't like all that live in Kent England, you get none of that . Its safe haven nothing ever happens, what no earthquakes?no nothing ,I said we a had a bit high wind once but that was thirty odd years ago .once in a life time ..other than that my little space friend its the safest place in the world :).
  5. Ten minutes heavy shower ..and I'm in Hastings, where ever I am nothing happens, guess Tonbridge got a cracker all though that really is against the odds
  6. Nothing of note has happened here ..mixable or should I say miserable yesterday but other than that Nada ,bit drizzle low cloud etc ..cant right home about it because I am home
  7. I think you would have to go well up, proper up, litrally couple of thousand feet up , but you we could go to fort William and shimmy up nevis ..it will Still have have some I guess ,blimey its been dull in here lol ,dull and its been dull etc ,well ide say gloomy ..not quite bleak but gloomy , dull even
  8. Partly cloudy at first light ..now cloud level down to 400ft with light rain ..but 9c which is or feels summery if that's a word Up date low cloud proberbly sea level now or near on ..dropped totally
  9. I See by far reaches of gfs run we get a great set up for jan ,stiff NE plenty of precipitation but too late two and a half months to late just cold and wet ,but hey we are used to that ,huh
  10. Plus this is un technical version of what we here have to put up with .. First off la nina... cor its going change this year ,most of the world it effects from a lot to a little ..fair enough ,Eastern Pacific will lose its high ,all change, ,we by the way and getting worse have the most stubborn weather pattern generally than any part of the world and by reports of droughts lack of rain fall etc in Europe...our old friend ..used to be the bemuda azores high ..no ..no more its the euro- azores high it doesn't matter what the altlantic temperature does unlike the Pacific its like s**t to a blanket Expanding ‘Azores high’ driving ‘unprecedented’ changes in western Europe’s climate - Carbon Brief WWW.CARBONBRIEF.ORG Expansion of the “Azores high” – a high pressure system in the north Atlantic – is driving “unprecedented” changes in western...
  11. That was back so far it might as well been in the mini ice age ..there is people walking about in Bermuda shorts at moment ...gorgeous..pressure is rising here faster than the interest rates
  12. I have an inkling it could gave been a cold front ..there is us trying to get a a flake or two to settle and some that are sick to the back teeth with it ,today in Orpington we had light rain then moderate sleet ,soaked and freezing but snow was still off the cards like someone was throwing slush puppies at you ,cheyenne is further south in latitude than me in Tonbridge..but 3000 odd miles of relatively warm water which as its a mostly west to east regime scuppers us most of the time
  13. But look at gfs ..one month might ring true ...March winds ..looks windy in the foreseeable ,at cost of April's losing its showers i guess . Always a price to pay ,no one has free reign..or rain
  14. Few flakes as it pulled away from heavy ish rain to drizzle to snow flakes ..gone ..wind goes through you though but so does hope slowly drain away much too little much too late
  15. And to be emotionally serious ,the polar vortex which it seems everybody hates is really only trying to preserve what little bit cold artic we have left because of temp difference , like a self leveling thing stronger the jet stream stronger the temp difference ..the artic is tipping back into the sun now ..call it global warming ..call it what you want and by who and by what but the thing is once its gone its gone ,then northerlies easterlies anything won't matter just a little nippy in winter ..
  16. The warm uppers will always chase cold and everyone's snow north they always do and in a way will always win ,like two battling army's,but the warm reds are ..was three times the size ,these days much more ..reinforcements,..year on year more of them ,the cold blues well they have little counter offensives but that's getting harder and less frequent year by year ..sadly:( Mixed out before you can say boo to a goose ..:(
  17. Well still bring the sledge but bring a couple whores with you it will double up as dingy ..4c and belting down horrible gruesome day tbh ... Sorry oars ..lol
  18. Look at this ..special I think ..magical even ..3c and ..belting it down.. as colder rain as never been had before ..someone's mucking about aloft 20230308_200658.mp4
  19. Thats not just typical of an east London event, thats a typical of an event like this for 70 % of the south east who on low lying ground experienced exactly what you kindly put
  20. Did say weeks back i thought it would slide down north of siberia but its like connect 4 a knock on effect and by golly its landed or should we say manifested mid to northern Greenland which *our luck * has.. given whats left of the polar vortex to much to play with ..here anyway, if it had plonked its self over sw siberia we might have got a Scandinavian high and Bob would be our uncle ..but people up north hate that because we are in euphoria, they get what we usually get diddly squat
  21. Where are those places?? Otherside of Watford arnt they So even our northern friends have a line, just they have higher hills ..
  22. I'm glad ,thats all it needs sometimes lol ,I'm quite high (not stoned though )still have a few cm.. half inch here at best for the imperialists but nothing falling out of the sky be it rain sleet or snow
