Exactly! If there's a slight downgrade it 'rubbish' 'typical' 'as usual' and 'we will get nothing'. If there is a slight upgrade or it stays the same, they don't mention anything! Hmmmmm...
I've just read on another thread that the Met Office said on Twitter that amber warnings will be issued around midday.
Edit - Amber warning out now for the West Midlands
I assumed that because it was already frosty it wouldn't get anymore without the temperature dropping a lot.
Edit: the temperature has dropped here since 8am so it is probably the frost.
This might seem stupid but what makes the Met Office seem more confident about snow later on in the week to issue a warning. I thought at this stage it can change lots?
This must be the first time I have known when in the morning everywhere was covered in snow. It all melted throughout the day then by the evening it has started snowing and everywhere is covered again!
