AA79 ?

Payed a good bit extra for a BA flight, only to find out while checking in online that its operated by AA. Then redirected to AA website by BA to do the whole online checkin, asked for crap loads of details that I gave BA already, crap seat selection, ie only middle seats on a 777. Only option is to checkin at airport now. If I want to drink anything other than water they will charge me a small fortune. There was no mention on the BA site that this flight was operated by AA when I booked. Not happy. Rant over... for now.

Yip, I'm up for a beer at the Airport before I head to the Best Western. I assume you mean Dave, Arron is already out there on tour 2, but is also on T3. Dave arrives a good few hours before us Ross so I reckon he will be at the hotel or at a rodeo... I could be wrong there. But defo up for a quick drinkie if we are in the airport at the same time. I probably wont bother with a meal. EDIT: Probably not a bad idea for those us arriving on friday to Exchange mobile numbers via PM so we can text to see what the story is. I'll send mine on there now. On the Sat everyone should have the mobile number in the Info Pack.

Ross, are you staying in Irving too? Meself and Mr Vicary are there on the 20th. BTW, Pat Timmer will only be there if tour 2 makes it back early to DFW. Which is doubtful.

Wow guys. Some of those are among the best lightning shots I've ever seen. Looking at Mark's shots first I was thinking Jebus it doesnt get much better than this, especially the multiple discharge one, but some of the others are truly awesome also. Well done lads.

Yes it was James. Sorry should have given you a heads up, I had put something into the virtual chase thread with the intention of putting it here, but was chatting to tom and there were some mechanical probs with the plane and they had to wait for 2 parts, which was the reason for the delay.

Just got an Email from Tom. The BA flight they are all on today has broken down. Pilot says its unsafe to take off. They are waiting on parts and might be delayed another couple of hours. Could be worse I suppose.

Safe journey guys! With 13 of ye on the same flight over it should be good fun! Ian, Tom and I were on the same flight 2 yeas ago and caused the plane to run out of beer! Tom was driving on the other end so I think it was Ian and I that were primarily responsible. I think I might send an email to BA to tell them to stock up. Anyway, keep safe all and godspeed!
