  1. Off topic, but does anyone know why Vortex2 have posted this up on facebook.... From Wurman: "The vehicles are not CSWR or VORTEX2 vehicles. As far as I can tell from a quick viewing of the Youtube video, they are the TIV2, the TIV medic and support vehicle(s) which are likely affiliated with Sean Casey, Discovery, and/or its production vehicles, and/or a production company making an IMAX film." Apparently a video has been uploaded to youtube, anyone seen said video? Edit: I think they might be trying to distance themselves from TIV and support team dangerous driving yesterday in this video. I might be wrong. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iMdJy3qMak
  2. And you guys are in the Tornado watch box, in the hotel in Irving. Jammy etc etc
  3. WOW guys. Amazing video. Been waiting for this all day. Well worth the wait. I hate all of you BTW
  4. Unreal there guys. Whish I was there. Jealous as hell! Delighted for you guys though!
  5. Busy day for the guys and I know they are under pressure so they probably forgot to update before they hit the road. I've just set their status to Online.
  6. Cheers Nathan, now what you think the vast majority of people who read this post are going to do. No sleep for me tonight! Would have googled anyway methinks Glad your OK Pat. Now go get me some storms!
  7. OK Done that on 1 computer. Will power up the other 4 in the house and were there
  8. I have not seen the thread yet, but I'm pretty sure they were referring to Vortex 2 which have been known to block junctions to allow their armada through.
  9. News report on RTE (Ireland) on the events yesterday.
  10. [quote name='multi cellular thunderstorm' date='11 May 2010 - 06:11 '
  11. Cant wait guys. Ye must be knackered. be sure to grab a beer and hopefully a good meal although at this stage it might be pizza at the hotel, either sounds like you guys and gall had a fantastic day. Me is a bit jealous to be honest. Is Pat's head still attached to his body? I'm pretty sure it probably went boom a few hours ago.
  12. I believe there has been 1 so far from an emergency managers office, so pretty much confirmed unfortunately. Cant quiet remember the exact location.
  13. Good stuff Ian. You guys had an awesome day. Great to hear ye are OK. Just watching Channel 4 OK. Looks like a good bit of damage done not far off Norman,
  14. Noop. Will try calling them to make sure they are ok if they dont come back online soon
  15. I wish I was back on the main highways with the lads, but sadly I'm back in Cork doing a bit of tech support along with Paul M. Was Just talking to Paul S there on the phone a few minutes ago and he was saying the damage they are coming across is mental. Well done team! 2 nadoes and still daylight. Awesome!
  16. GPS was having an issue. We have fixed now. Back on sprint also so stream is nice an smooth again. I had to move them back to crappy Verizon for a while there,
  17. When coverage gives us enough bandwidth to put audio on the stream the lads will enable it. Unfortunately when they go off the beaten track, like off an interstate, enough upload bandwidth to support both audio and video can be hard to get. There's also a bit of a language problem when they get that close to the supercells. Ian will probably switch it on if coverage is good enough.
  18. Yes, been on to Ian and they have lost coverage. It should come back soon
  19. Did he apologize for being a massive pain to me every time I come across them at a 4 way stop.
