after a high of 2.0c all day the temp rose here to 2.7 but now with some sleet falling temps have come down to 2.3 mullender dont panic, i remember the feb event it really wasnt looking good here but monday afternoon it snowed and by friday we had 10 inches on the ground which lasted until the following week, and that was forcast as a dusting, you must have got a foot or more fromey

expect that to change, ive never had any confidance in the guy!!!

this must be a dream come true for you if this verfies, i havent seen charts like this ever and im 31, i expect some middle ground to be found somewhere but one thing is for sure its going to be cold, i have a funny feeling im going to be busy over the coming weeks( i work for the ambulance service)

its very cold here in frome somerset foggy and with a temp of 1.8C wasnt expecting it to be this cold and was expecting a little more sun as given by the local forcast last night he ho.

good afternoon, just caught the 1355 weather on the bbc and he said that the real cold weather wont be reaching us until mid week onwards, which set of data/ models would have that come from?? any ideas

i think having a thread which will be a dry thread so to speak is a good i dear, all i want to do is be able look though the discussion with out having to wade though 6 pages of C##P of "it isn't going to do this ,and it cant do that and will it snow here" all i want is a run down of what each model is doing without the above rubbish. Morning everybody, i probaly going to get shot down for saying this but i remember watching Joe B over in the states on some tv programe/news and his forecast as you are all aware goes for a very cold winter, but what sticks out in my mind he did say though that we would be very mild in november and begining of december, isnt this what were seeing now?? i cant find the link to post the video but if anybody has it feel free to post it. please be gentle with your replys as i know very little about charts, PDOs, -nao etc etc, im still learning. your thoughts would aid me in learning. many thanks Fromey

some anvils now going up in the last 30 mins the picture to the right is a huge anvil which im under at the moment.
