The sky's gone that most wonderful pinky/steel grey colour, with no definition. That usually means only one thing...and yesss, wait for it..hmm. Ahhh, a few flakes, more flakes. SNOW!!!!!!

Nice thought cheshire snow..I 'm big on positivity! just one edit to your prediction though, How about...NW REGION..HEAVY SNOW, BLIZZARDS, 10-15 Low ground, 25-40 pennines, 60+ in Liverpool..with localised falls above window ledges!!!! :lol:

Heavy snow, big flakes...and amazingly, blue sky and bright sunshine. I'm flummoxed!

Some visually beautiful scenes round here...snowing, but with the sun coming through, big bright orange sun. Aesthetically gorgeous. Pity I'm a technophobe, and haven't a clue about uploads etc.

About 2 cm in Liverpool, was over on Wirral last night, decent fall about 10pm. Some light/medium flakes falling at present, but feel today will be special. Prolonged snow showers from about 3...right through till midnight/beyond. COME ON!!!! (fingers crossed)

Sorry for the late reply Stephen..I'm in Wavertree. We've since had a heavy snow shower, and some smaller soft hail type events. it's clouding over all the time, and it won't be long before a settle occurs, probably by midnight.

Hurrah! Grainy flakes in liverpool, with the odd bigger flake mixed in. Quite excited, as we were forecast sunny intervals, and NO SNOW till at least later tonight. Think we're going to the trump the SE! :lol: (ok, I'm a bit too excited)

Hi mate welcome to the rollercoaster forum. There is a chance as we move through monday and into tuesday that you will see some snow in the heavy shower form. but at the moment those in the eastern and south eastern area"s are likeley to benfit in terms off snow through the week. Thanks for the info, I'm trying to be optimistic in my wishes, though years of following weather patterns, (from afar, not like you guys 'n' gals) has also given me a realistic streak. One things for sure, my game of golf, scheduled for Tuesday, has been put on ice..(sic)

Hiya roady, I'm 200 yards off Queens Drive, about 2 minutes from the Rocket pub. (classed as Wavertree) The blizzard we had recently was a sight to behold, I was off work, and about to walk to Broadgreen station to go over the water to the Wirral. I delayed my journey to marvel in the significant fall we had that day...only to trudge somewhat disappointed to the station some 30 mins later when the slush took precidence!

I'm really excited. New to the forum, I'd like to say hi to all users. I'm a snow lover, a fanatic, but living in Liverpool, snow is as rare as hens teeth. I'm aware that the east will be the main recipients from Sunday, but would like to hear the regulars tell me the snow will move as far west as me!! Cheers all, I've been preaching to all and sundry in work, (you know, the weather heathens) that we may get some decent snow on Monday/Tuesday! tell me I'm right and I'll be smiling into my strongbow!!
