Scientists also warned us of global warming. Remember that political stunt ?

Has Michael Fish ever fancied storm chasing with the legendary Mondy? :w00t:

Do you trust anybody? Not from the posts I've seen. Anyway there is a big difference betwen weather forecasting re. models and the the Hadley centre and climate change. As a matter of interest could you explain your mistrust in more detail so that just posibly a counter argument can be presented.
I'm not Paul Tall, but I'll have a damn good go at it...(the mistrust, that is)
You'll need to wait until tomorrow. It's late.

It's cringeworthy to read this. Unfortunately, I have, over & over, and it makes me mad.
The MetO is a big beast and hell mend anyone should they at least question them.
Nice how they mention all the good feedback received, but omit anything remotely poor (and right!)
Sickening.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT, THE EPIC BLAST: On Dec. 6th, a magnetic filament stretching more than 700,000 km around the sun's southeastern limb erupted, producing a blast of epic proportions. Earth was not in the line of fire. Click to view a must-see movie from NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory.

The preliminary figure for January to October 2010 is 0.52 °C above the long-term average on the Met Office....
Even when we had a rather very cold January?
However, that is beside the point. How can you compare 12 months to 10 months? Are they assuming the missing two months?
Has this press release been hurriedly prepared for the Mexican climate change conference?
Is this what is called fraudulent science? I smell a rat, and it stinks.

Why is it a 10 month year?

Look for weather obs around Grampian for lowest tonight. Far northeast areas, but offshore.
-
NEW SUNSPOT: A sunspot is emerging over the sun's northeastern limb, and it appears to be one of the largest of the new solar cycle.

There are indications of a very cold December with possible heavy snowfall events in central and northeast England
...and the rest of the UK?!
-
It's so interesting, not even Spaceweather.com has it on site (currently)

I'll send some to you reef, I feel bad for having so many frosts after reading this. The frost on the car was so thick this morning I rolled it into a snowball and gave it to my two year old to play with!!
LOL!
My car doors wouldn't open first attempt. Jeez, thought the central locking had gone for one horrible moment until i applied some brute force -5.4c we reached here @ 06:00.
