  7. Very possibly, I think we just caught the tail of it here- rain wasn't prolonged (just wet!) e2a:- looking at the NW radar the squall line raked right the way along the N. Norfolk coast...
  8. Yep, got caught by that one walking the dog! Heavy rain, squally winds & the very faintest of rumbles of thunder!
  9. That passed close to my NW- no precip. faint thunder heard, looked very unstable around it's downdraft base- fantastic cloud structure! Edit to add- another cell developing SSW of me!
  10. I was in an office inside a warehouse then! Only started hearing thunder (& seeing lightning) on my way home from work. Cell now to my W & SW...
  11. Showers initiated here in Norwich mid-morning after a clear start. Cloud development was very rapid- from tiny scraps of Fractus to full blown Cbs in about 3 hours! Thunder first heard approx. 30 minutes ago... now watching for the next cell! :lol:

  17. Currently dry, mostly overcast with a few brighter intervals. Wind mod/fresh S. Temp. 20.9 C Pressure 1016.6 hPa falling.
  18. Sustained TS here in Norwich for about the last 2.5 hrs, moderately electrified with heavy rain. Now moving away to E, Sun out again in NW. Result- rainbow!

  20. Looks really good and conveys the flow of the weather well; the slider bars on the maps are excelllent! I still have a niggle with this site (& the MetO) though- the nearest obs site for Norwich is RAF Marham which is 50 km NW of here! I can't believe that they can't use data from Norwich Weather Centre...
