    I can confirm snow grains are blowing in the wind in Witney. A surprise to say the least. Have now been tasked in trying to find the kids sledge!

    Not much change in weather here, fog has lifted to mist and the vis is around 2000m/3000m. Variable cloud around 200/400 ft. Temp, is still -3c. Another Ice Day. Would not be surprised if the fog comes back later. Interesting to read about the snow around Oxford and North Oxon. Must be the height.

    Still Freezing fog in this past of Oxfordshire.... Temp up to -3c Full Observation: Surface Wind - Calm Vis - less than 150m Weather - Freezing Fog Sky Obscured Temp - -3°C Humidity 93% Pressure 1029mb No signs of light snow which has been reported in Oxford.

    Cannot disagree with that. Wouldn't be surprised if and when it starts raining here temps will rise. Keenly feeling the cold as the spare part to my CH arrived yesterday only to find another part doesn't work. Hoping for Heat and Hot water anytime after 1500 today. If not, sometime Monday. Which will be two weeks and 5 parts later!

Sure I met with Mr Holmes in his RAF days.... Last chance today for Pompey to win a Euro game.

    S/W NW'ly about 5kts Vis Miles and Miles Cloud, some tottering around 1500' Lovely afternoon. +3c, from last nights -4c No heating or hot water as gas boiler has broken down and only another 3 to 5 days waiting left for the spare part... It's a tad cold at home!

    An area Oxford - Burford - Abingdon have seen NO snow. Nothing new there then. Have seen slight Rain/Snow (Sleet) shower very briefly in October.
