Incredible lightning storm at the moment. No rain, and little thunder, just almost consistent flashes. Amazing.

Just had very heavy rain with lightning, very loud thunder and strong wind. Easing off now but lost satelite reception for about 5 minutes. It's great.

Ditto. Started raining, very heavily about 10 minutes ago. We lost satelite reception as well. There has also been several lightning flashes and a couple of VERY loud rumbles of thunder. Stopping now as I type. That's the heaviest rain we have had for months.

Light snow here for the last 4 hours. Has settled a litlle on above ground surfaces but has now stopped falling. Temp 0.8°C and still cloudy. Here's hoping. -
Woohoo.... Just had a snow shower, in Yeovil, for about 15 mins but it stuck straight away and has give everything a covering. Happy White Christmas to Everyone (apologies to those that don't see any )

Bright sunshine all afternoon. Clouded over at about 1830 and had very, very light precipitation (odd spot on car). Saw a few sleety flakes at about 1900 but very still and dry now. Temperature 2.2 °C Dew Point -0.9 °C Humidity 80% Wind Speed 1mph Wind Gust 3mph Wind NNW Pressure 1009.7hPa Precipitation 0.00in - bugger Clowd Base 1497ft
