    Yeah iv seen salt being sold at the front of the store in tesco and with loads of snow shovels! lol I would expect a warning from the met office around lunch time when they do there updates, would of thought we'd be in the advisory.

    just seen the latest beeb on news 24 with Chris Fawkes, and Saturday night looks fantastic for our region and looks like lasting welll into sunday!, looks like it has stalled right over us, snow event from the start aswell! just starting to get a little excited now ..

    Morning all, just looking at the GFS 6z for dew points, and this is suggesting the dew point will rise late evening into tomorrow morning? I tried posting the charts but failed majorly! lol

    Yes and also mentioned showers off the Thames could bring snow showers from tomorrow night into Friday and the weekend is looking better for our region..

    Just see the beeb on n24 and there keeping an eye on Friday for our part of the region so some heavy snow showers could feature and the further east we are most likely to see significant snowfall on the weekend, I like the sound of that, even though it's still not a dead cert..

    Just walked outside at work and it's a lovely crisp day along the Thames although feeling very cold in the wind. Would be interesting if it snowed Saturday as west ham have millwall at home and that could be an epic snow fight :lol: Haven't had a chane to look at the charts. How are we looking for convection tonight into tomorrow, do we reach the -10 / -15c uppers?

    Looks like the wind is more of an ENE flow? Only on phone so can't see the radar properly, if so maybe that's a Thames streamer slowly starting, only producing light flurries by the looks of it..

    Its on its way down and is showing up as snow on netweather's radar, would be a nice suprise to just see a light snow shower, keep the ppn coming..

    this is only the beginning, calm down, im sure it will change come the 0z, And just has a small snow grain shower, chance of some light snow come the morning..

    Yep it's a start, can't rule out the Thames streamer either, won't be as intense but a few snow flurries or a light shower is a good way to start the week..
