Looks ok, heavy in the south I never understand that part as I am in the West Mids but North Birmingham..so is that me? Down to 2.9c from 3.1c

Temperatures are great for us so far, nearest one to me is 3.1c. Further north are 1c, we'll be fine! Bring on the snow.

The same image was in my head, thats exactly how I see things to go in the early hours. Also, just went out to move some branches which I cut down, its VERY cold! Not sure its 6c here.

If people have seen a few of my114 posts, I am not normally the one to ramp it up. But this ones different and it seems many headteachers agree with me as 'school closures are flooding in' to the local radio, as they put it On roads, this will be worse than Mon/Tues as it will fall heavily from 4-5am. Rush hour will be a nightmare! Trust me on this one, those charts have it all wrong and I have no idea where they get the information that itll plan out like that, temperature wise and precip wise.

Dont be silly, it wont turn to rain. It will go cold over night and by 5am itll be snowing, itll continue until about 12. Each and every little bit will be snow, these charts are a load of tosh!

Whats with the sudden doom and gloom?! We will certainly see heavy snow in the midlands tonight and very early tomorrow morning, that I am more than confident about! What more do we need?!

Yep. Which is why I think we will get a good pasting! It was my initial thought then I first saw how the 2 fronts will meet over the Midlands. Its going to be terrible for drivers, from 5am..nobody on the roads, grit wont stop this. I really do think itll be bad, Imay be ramping it up but its my honest opinion.

Forecasts look promising, my guess is itll hit at around 4-5am with prolonged heavy snow until 8am. Then heavy showers until about 12? Then itll be goodbye snow.. hello sunshine!

So it IS tonight the fun starts?! EDIT: 8:30 Radar shows the band in the south going way too West and the band to the north weakening..

We had light snowfall here last night, lasted for about 15 minutes, gave a very very small dusting on top of what we had Mon & Tues. Alot of clouds overhead now. Is this expected next snow event tonight/early hours Thurs?

Schools & Colleges still shut around my area of the West Midlands for a further day? Can sort of see how because to walk out their is very dangerous, I should know as I slipped about 500 times on my way to the Walsall match! But on the other hand...main roads are clear These bloody kids get it easy I can understand primary schools..but colleges?! Nevermind, is the band ment to reach us tonight because on the weather as the weatherman mentioned thursday night the band would reach us from the south..it showed it as Wednesday 12pm? (Today!) Maybe thats why their closed!

Its beginning to melt! The iceicle (cant spell that!) are starting to drip..the horrid noise of dripping in the pipes on houses are back too.. Goodbye snow!!
