    Maybe its also part of the earlier models showing different synoptics? If its derived from the 00 GEFS as according to Bleuarmy on the Stratosphere Temps Thread this run breaks recent continuity. It could be part of the change others have mentioned.

    I'm no professional and I'm scared of the same thing happening. Last night was cool and the situation certainly developed nicely for us in the N w London and other areas when the BBC said we would be really windy and around 7c however when the Sat started showing the Low pressure not going in that direction surprises started popping up. Although temps are a bit to high at the moment

    Getting very heavy in hendon now It alternates between very heavy and then light snow

    Are things progressing the way the bbc forecast keeps saying in that by Sunday afternoon it's all over for us in the south east

    Just started snowing in hendon north west London

    It looks like it's going past the tip of Cornwall and steaming into the channel unless it corrects due east but hasn't looked to take that trajectory yet. The fact that the system is sliding and the snow seems at the moment to be on the line in a diagonal slice across Ireland and the the UK with London giving back snow returns on the radar could London stay in the all snow or will it change back to rain. I imagine if the low carries on in the direction it is currently that many more will get a good dump
