  1. Just Spitting in Hendon NW London Sadly we always miss it whether it's snow or thunderstorms
  2. Ah a bit late but this was a tower about 10 mins ago over Hendon NW London
  3. Not yet it's 22c and sunny in NW London and the air is still quite fresh in comparison with last few days so wondering when this humid heat will come over Actually it's gone up to 24c now so maybe this is the heating up happening now
  4. So hot and sunny in London today its great for end of August
  5. Can't believe this was not forecast but it's now 25c outside at 4.53pm after a pretty chilly rainy morning/afternoon. Seems that the warmer air still around for us in the south East
  6. I Just Came Back From A Week In Shenzhen China And I've Been going therefor 20 years boy oh boy it was freezing and they normally have tshirt weather so something happened but we over here didn't benefit cold wise over in china a different ball game
  7. I was in Hendon NW London and it hailed briefly after a few little snowflakes , feeling like being in the alps in spring when its sunny and warm on you, then that cold feeling the minute there is cloud cover. the hail was around 2.35pm
  8. Precipitation is picking up again to the west of London it would seem from the radar. But dew points and temps are still going to have to drop I imagine for us to see snow
  9. Over in the model thread the great Nick Sussex has posted for 10pm from the Arome Nick Sussex Wrote We have a good test for one of the higher resolution models. The AROME Hi Res now has snow developing ahead of the front over East Anglia. Looking at the dew points the far se and parts of EA currently have negative dew points. Ive also attached a screen grab from the Netweather in which i have circled in red where it looks like it's starting to happen
  10. Looks like its just starting to do so on the Netweather Radar i've circled it in red
  11. Not sure how you came to this conclusion. Temps in the southeastern part are still dropping including Northolt down to 2c 7 minutes ago with a dew point of -1c The rain doesn't look like progressing as quickly as a normal frontal band of Atlantic rainfall would. It's started to transition over the higher elevations in Scotland on the net weather radar at least. Temps in the far west of Ireland which were up to 11c last night are now 3c and so is Aviemore which was much warmer earlier today. Winds in the south are still coming up from a southerly directly from a cold France rights now.
  12. On the Satellite the cloud band is still travelling on a collision course with most of London, however, whether there is precipitation under it is another matter.
  13. Sincerely hope not. And hopefully this would be the reverse psychology needed after that request to ignore all the models backfired a few weeks ago. Let's be honest this winter has made fools out of weather models and professionals and ametuers. If the weather does turn much colder what will it look like for all those now writing off the remainder of winter.
  14. Nothing that will stop you traveling and probably not very much if anything tonight
