Severe Siberian icy blast

Although im very happy with developments, the temps are a concern, bbc says its only 2c today but i csn say its nearer 5c, the temp needs to come down, the cloud may do that this afternoon and by the time the ppn gets hear this evening should be ok, with the evaporative cooling havin a part also, they say 10cm even tonight on the bbc, also using the word significant, then im sure it will mostly melt during 2morrow where i work in stratford as its very low ground and melts as its settling, but then roll on monday lol!! very exiting!

redditch is not south its 9miles south of maypole,brum, chelt is south, as far north as evasham!

Im not that fussed bout 2morrow, its monday in my eyes that could be amazing, it depends if it gets hear, we all no the snow lines on both events will not be exactly as they say, a shift of 50miles will give us the snow, the southerly Lp systems have came further north on every event so far last wk , and as its quite intense i think it will again , but who knows, i am quite pleased tho over all.

Well ppl are sayin its still moving northeastwards , but it looks to me on the met-office radar its slowly leaving brum, i hope im wrong , it could pep up quite easily . it it light where then?? its eased off a bit hear which is the last thing i want !

morning, snowing heavily hear, covering everywhere but not loads , i hope its stalled rather than on the and bout to go back south yet, it was forecast to sis at the same place for hours on end, i hope there right !! Any one agree???????????

Well my latest study of the radar for both the uk and then from europe as well ,its coming for us , the heavier/bigger band goes west of us , maybe east wales but remember that at some point its gonna be doing 1 of 2, stalling over us cause it will not march into north wales as the artic air is digging in , which is good news for prolonged snowfall, or reaching us then sweeping east like its meant to be doin , sending all the ppn that will be on the western flank of it over us as it moves east , i personaly think its looking rather good for us mad snow lovers!!!!!!!!! maybe its drawn to all the love we have for it haha

well to be honest i couldnt make head and tail if that second image then , couldnt quite get it to work , i did notice the position of the low been west though wich is good

Agreed there mate , it gives our areas 100% snow for early fri , i feel somethin good could hapen if im honest, certainly more north now

At the min the ppn off the south coast is coming straight for the midlands , im not saying we will get hit, but i am saying it needs to change significantly the direction to effect the areas mentioned by bbc , they got last nights ppn wrong in my eyes by 80mile or so , although the west had snow the main area went way east , these southern lows have always been a night-mere to predict for years, and theres nothing to say why the mids wouldnt cop this lot , comments pls

for us midlanders the bbc weather 15min ago suggested a development of snow today for wales, midlands , southweast also, so i had a look at the latest radar throug the met office and there is a lot of ppn in the bristol chanel with what looks to be developing nicely with our names on it ! so we shall see

thankyou, i remain fairly confidnt tho , the temps only meant to be 0c this afernoon so fingers crossed, so far its snowed a lot further south than meant to so be good if it kept up this pleasing trend :blink:

hi all , just had an hour or so and its nice and heavy now, about an inch, looks loads more on the way . unless its moving sharply northeast, i was wondering if some1 can shed any light on it 4 me pls? am i in for a reall pasting ??? lol , comments welcome xx

dont worry my friend , its been light snow now for about 10min , just becoming mod now, slow moving is a brill thing for us
