  1. Thanks mate , yea that makes sense , so monday and tue then its the due point then really thats too hight , along with the surface temp also been 5c. thanks buddy
  2. I would say next week looks brilliant in terms of potential, although i have a question . a few pages ago i looked at a chart showing england under -6,-7 uppers early next wk , and every1 saying it wud be rain monday and tue , including the bbc weather a minute ago , but then for thurs which is looking snowy apparently the uppers are roughly -8,-9 for the majority of england , so not a massive difference as far as upper temps are concerned , so does that raise concerns i ask?????? Also since when is -6,-7 uppers progged for monday and tue not cold enough for snow ? I thought as long as if they -5 we were safe for snow??? THOUGHTS PLS V WELCOME , thanks
  3. 3 Run in a row including last nights 18z , then the 2 today , and it 1st showed this 2days ago in the 18z which was blown out the water the next morning , only to show its face again last night , i said last night if we got another 3 runs the same its on to somethin , iv never saw them handsome charts in the 2yrs model watchin iv done, just ones thats been posted from past winters like 1963 , im exited now iv got to be honest , its comin for xmas like the winter forecast suggest , netweather, TheWeatherOutlook, and the chap in America, (iv 4gotton what he was on sorry lol) have all gone for extensive northern blocking this winter and it seems to me its finaly materialising
  4. WELL WELL WELL, this morninga f1 is almost identical to last nights 18z, with the set up a lot of us only dream about since the last 15yrs or so , this appeared firstly the day b4 yesterday at the 18z pub run , which by yesterday morning was blown out the water , then came in very strong last night , and again this morning . I said last night we need consitant charts b4 we get exited , but its now shown 3 times in 3 days , even on the runs without the northern blocks , theres still been consistant hights been shown for the last few wks to our north , its on to somethin and in the next wk you will all see that the proof is in the pudding ! WATCH THIS SPACE
  5. Well its a repeat of last night it seems , if we get this look for another 3 days then its deffinatly on to somethin , even the 12z wasnt that different looking at the pressure rises to our norh , i have a feeling about the next 2wks and behond but as far as every1 else is concerned its nothin more than a feeling so ones will argue my ''feeling'' , but time will tell , and im rather optimistic to say the least .
  6. Agreed , the models have absolutly no idea whats goin on , the only thing thats consistant is the high to our north east really, as for them raging south westerlies with at one point a pool of 10c uppers is about as stupid as its ever goin to get , it annoys the hell out of me to see the forecasting models throwing in such extreme predictons each day , surely there is no point in the F1 as it hasnt even been any good for trends as of late , gives ppl somethin to talk about thats all it does .
  7. Hi , i couldnt agree more, after my lon day at work i look forward to getting home and reading through the forums , and time and time again ones are either agueing with one another or discussing eveything but this coming winter , which is this year i have barely posted a thing as it annoys the hell out of me, i enjoy looking at this winter prospects and different opinions about the weather and its climate , its what the forums are all about , but there not a place to fall out with ones we'v never met before, and say comments we no would rub ones up the wrong way. There iv said my peice
  8. Hi all, personaly i found the videos , especialy the secone one very interesting , and he gives nothin away whats so ever regarding this coming forecast , i cant believe i read comments on hear so negative such as . ''im throwing in the towel now !!'' I know us snow lovers want the snow and cold , and even in a mild one we'l still get some snow , but saying that , with the atlantic so quiet , as it was last year , also given that the video mainly was talking about high pressure it leads me to be very optimistic indeed , i no gut feelings count for nothing when it comes to the weather but for me there's several factors pointing towards a cold winter , and the factors pointing toward a mild 1 are factors that have been there for years , ie- global warming , recent trends etc etc . . . I personaly have a feeling that we are entering a different pattern , not just to winters but summers also , so its thumbs up for me
  9. I can understand ones been cautious , but surely when models start to look better there is no point in going negative at the 1st signs off colder weather , we all look towards the models for direction so lets look at the forecasts they issue rather than slaggin them b4 its due lol!!!!!!!! im not picking at any1 just making a very small point , hope no1 minds
  10. do you think its really moving west slightly cause it looks like to me that it may be , im litteraly 20miles west of ot lol ! maybe it will pep up some more ! any comments welcome. thanks
  11. can you tell me how to get the latest radar development pls, im using the met office 1 , but it seems u get things quicker! you think any of that will make it into brum???thanks
  12. I cant believe what iv just read folks, apparently the ppn, is 1 INTENSIFYING, and 2, moving SOUTHWESTWARDS!!! OMG i hope so , iv just read it in the northeast/yorkshire forum , they talked about somethin happening in the north sea , sounded very technical, interesting
  13. Hi great post there, so if thats right , may i ask why the bbc dont pick up on this ??? i hope it will push that ppn over hear into the midlands!? comments welcome , thanks
  14. so is this developing then people ?? iv heard from another snow watch forum its developing west! the radar dosent look good for us according to the met office 1, but there was one posted to some1 in york and it was full of yellows, even a hint of red , any 1 think it may retrograde west lol ????
  15. i was wondering if any1 can say where thats headong lol! iv been looking at the radar and it seems as though its develpoing out to the west a litle , can any1 confirm this for me pls!!! im in the midlands but the majority of its goin east, any comments welcome! thanks
  16. Any ideas why this retrogression is happening , it looked so depressing hear after seeing it all shif eastwards but now i have hope! i also are seeing my 1st few flakes so i live in hope!
  17. Thanks guys, it looks to be develping further west quite nicely according to them 2 radars, hopefully that trend will continue, strange though in my eyes, but not comlaining!
  18. mate thats like music to my ears !! i hope so otherwise all that snow in the north sea is 1 big waste!!
  19. hi i was hoping for some light to be shed on this for me , i see the main bulk has gone way east than was forecast, is there any development this afternoon out west that may come in line with bbc graphics??? i hear some of you say it seems to be developing just whwn it seems to be passing you , is there some info on your nw radars that the met office radar seems to be lacking as this is all iv got , any ideas/comments welcome, thanks
  20. Hi every1 i was hoping some1 may shed some light on this for me, i hevnt got the nw radar, all i can look at is the met office radar , and it looks as though its gone way east than forecast, the main bulk looks to be in the sea, i hear some say it looks to be peping up , is it meant to develop further west like the bbc graphics suggest and like some on hear have hinted at, the west midlands weather said its coming this evening , but its missed us completely if the mets radar is to be believed , any ideas welcome , thanks
  21. Hi, just looked at the radar and it seems you will do much better than me, i cant qiute understand why its moved quickly east , its been moor east/southeast rather than than southeast like most fronts move from in from the northwest, im guessing its the high p to our southwest, midlands today forecast 2-5cm in the east of the west midlands, warickshire area also the north such as derby. we will see though
  22. according to the bbc there showing more snow towards the east of our region, i cant imagine the ppn will jump us cause it looks like its coming straight for us to me , any1 shed any light on this for me pls thanks
  23. well another look at the radar and its halted as far as i can see, it has left the south some what but that as it follows the tight rap around of the low , look at the ppn still on us its not really budged, its moving away but very slowly indeed
  24. Can i ask where all the westmidlanders have gone!! its stil heavy snow hear , just hope it hasnt left you yet . anybody pls??
