I'm in Bishopbriggs and still lying snow this morning but would say that on the whole, for the areas with the most Met Office weather warnings such as west central Scotland, the last 2 days has been really poor for snowfall. Temperatures have been warmer than predicted and it seems to me that the centre of the low pressure has just sat on top of these areas repelling any heavy showers or longer periods of snow. Where snow falls is really is difficult to predict in the UK and in my experience the best snowfall tends to happen just as often as a surprise rather than as predicted. I dont think the Met Office have covered themselves in glory with this spell however.
