Ok now these showers are starting to pick up a bit hopefully not long until the fun and games begin

Cells forming inland to the NW off main storm perhaps something for midlands if they can form a line of such.

Ian F forecast looked good not amazing but plenty of lightning mentioned in his forecast so that's enough to convince me to stay up depending on developments

Thanks do you know any good vantage points I could chase but would like a good vantage point off incoming storms.

How highly rated is the EURO4 model is it the best model to use for forecasting tricky situations like tonight,

Not such a favourable position for the storms tonight as last night but hopefully just like last night the storms will be much more widespread than forecast.

Hopefully I wont need to chase tonight as I didn't need to in the end last night amazing thunder and lightning. Last night was good I got very close to my location at one point, hadn't felt that excited about a storm In a long time.

Im still over the moon that I saw a decent storm with frequent thunder and lightning hope for more tomorrow night and Saturday, just saw more lightning as I type but to my west now over Bristol channel area.
