    Swindon again haha they seem to be a storm magnet lately not complaining nice to see storm development further north and west of main storm.

    I had a handheld anemometer a few years back was only a cheep one, these kestrels have always had good reviews and would quite like a decent one so might go ahead and order one.

    Convection has sprung to life here now out of nowhere was clear and sunny an hour ago.

    Storms firing away in Essex and towards home counties. Its been a great summer but there's finally a change on the way.

    Lovely warm sunny day here although cloud has started to develop but not ruining the sunshine at the moment no stats due to work sorry.

    A lot of the lightning was elevated during the weekend there were a couple of cloud to ground strikes here and heard a lot of thunder.

    Latest GFS 18z looks very good for storm potential from Thursday into the weekend as it stands which would be good timing for me as I am off on Friday and Saturday's might go on my first storm chase if it looks favourable.

    To all the people that missed out there's another opportunity later in the week as the temperature and humidity starts to rise again. Its been a much nicer day here today with plenty of sunshine with some great towering cumulus clouds, also feeling fresher than yesterday I am hoping to get my vantage vue set up soon which will be good to compare weather data.

    Very surprised a Sferic has been picked up on cell in Devon thought that was the fresher conditions spreading in.

    Well looks like the end has finally come what a great 2 days its been couldn't be happier hopefully the sun will come out soon to end the day on a sunny note.

    If u could predict storms accurately then your a top notch meteorologist.

    Or it looks like another line of showers forming again like earlier

    Its gone very dark now something is brewing

    Im hearing plenty of thunder but it doesn't look like its going to get much closer its quite static now moving in a band south to north.
