    Thanks so much for the reply. Its raining here at the moment so fingers crossed for the temps to drop so it turns to snow! Won't hold my breath though!

    With that heavier stuff coming my way is it possible it may fall as snow? My current temp is 2.4c (bit too warm for snow I think but I'm no expert!) with a dewpoint of -1.6c. Can I just say I really like this thread, I can ask these kind of questions without feeling like a complete numpty! Plus I'm learning loads! Thanks guys. B)

    Can you ask him to come over here with his broom please? There's no snow to sweep off my drive but he may be a snow magnet so it may follow him here so I can have some!!

    On the netweather radar I appear to be under a rather large blob of pink, which should be snow. However, nothing is falling from the sky, can anyone explain why please?

    My nearest online weather station (about 3 or 4 miles away from here) is saying a temp of 4.6c (it was 6.6c 45 minutes ago) with a dewpoint of -3.9c! Don't think I'll get any snow here for the next few days

    Think I might have to give myself a 48 hour news ban starting tonight! If I watch/listen to anymore of everyone having another load of snow I may just lose the plot!!! Don't think we'll be seeing anymore of the white stuff this winter

    I'm a bit confused..... as I said earlier I was lurking in the model thread this afternoon and from what I could gather it all got very exciting with some stonking snow for us! However, when I came back a while ago it all seemed to have changed completely (mood and predictions). Can anyone explain? Thanks Anita

    My forecast is the same as yours! How cool would that be if it did fall as snow. My son would go loopy!!! :lol: Doubt if it will happen though but we can live in hope!

    Me too, I can't see it happening either. Although if I check in the 'will it snow' section it gives me a 77% chance! Who knows, going to go for no snow from now on and if I do get some at least I'll be pleasantly surprised. Certainly a better option than thinking it will snow and then be disappointed!

    The met office has a warning out for essex for a moderate risk of heavy snow on Monday. Can anyone with some experience tell me if this is likely? Kind of lost faith in the bbc after this week, would certainly trust your opinions as opposed to theirs! Thanks Anita <_<

    Light snow falling here. Very steady though and 'proper' snow rather than the wet stuff! Long may it continue! (Probably won't though!)
