    Well in complete contrast, I would like to be anywhere else in the UK apart from where I am at the moment. Its rubbish here in Southport for any severe weather apart from wind. We are especially well known here for not having any snowfall in Winter. As for the date guessing; 1. 29th September 2. 3rd December 3. 1st November

    Yep, 102mm recorded here. Double the average, and the month isnt even done with yet! Mind you a lot of it was a massive thunderstorm on the 1st, dumping around 25-30mm in an hour.

    After numerous unsuccessful occasions last week, surely this time we will get somthing. The band of showers which stretch right across NW England are moving slowly westward. Fingers crossed for me, again!

    Possibly a 29c in the SE, although I think this hot spell will be relatively short-lived. After which there are indications there will be a fair few thunderstorms around, then it will probably be around average again. Oh well.

    I think all the snowfall's done with here, its completely stopped and is beginning to melt already...
