just rode from Newport to Cwmcarn along the canal ice not thawing in Cwmcarn and a dusting of snow on Twmbarlum mountain at 400mtrs no ice on the canal though.anyway it was a nice ride and a welcome hot coffee at Cwmcarn mountain bike centre.
i had one of those but my first bike was a tomahawk ( baby chopper) . today i`m riding a specialized enduro sworks mountain bike and still love to ride.
just took a look at rain today premium radar and it looks like the snow on its current path will miss us altogether !! 3 deg here getting foggy and raining moderately,
just watched the latest bbc forecast for tomorrow ans it saying wales will deffo get rain .midlands and south east england will get the snow with 4 inches around london area .
i just watched two very conflicting forecasts on the bbc,one from Derek brockway who said rain for the weekend with the odd snowflake mixed in and one from the bbc who said that they were uncertain about exactly what would happen yet ??
nothing here yet although it`s gone very misty and feeling colder !
looking at rain today premiun radar it looks like the battle ground is right above me .i can see the easterly flow hitting the wast flow right above south east wales ad all of the eastern border of wales .
no change here in newport at 65 m asl still 2 deg c and slight easterly breez. feels rew though. i was out mountain biking yesterday at cwmcarn mountain bike centre,there was patches of laying snow above 1000 ft .today feels much colder !!
