Well the forecast was completely wrong for Bridgend and the weather warnings. We didnt see any snow until 5am which took until around 6am to become heavy for a short while. No more than 1 inch in snow fell over a 4 hr period where it died out and the dreaded sun came out for the day and melted it all away. Sounds like Swansea had a good dumping last night and into today. How did Cardiff do?

Well what a rollacoaster night for Bridgend, woke at 4am and nothing, was gutted that no snow had fallen. Woke at 6.50am and snow everywhere. Anyone know if there is more to come throughout today for South Wales? Are we in for a snow day?

I am so hoping for a whiteout overnight, this is looking promising, hope the ppn moves west to Bridgend from Cardiff.

A few flakes of snow are starting to fall in Bridgend, nothing major but its snow, hopefully it will pickup in intensity. :o How is Cardiff doing now? Any heavier Jay or Jaydee?

haha I keep my obsession secret in work, they would think I was wierd also. But you are completely right most grown-ups love the snow but for some reason they feel because they are grown up they cant enjoy it and have to be miserable about it. I say bring on the snow

There are worse things out there to be obsessed by, winter is my favourite time, love snow so much even though we hardly ever get any. :lol:

haha my wife thinks I am completely nuts and obsessed by snow, every winter without fail I am an avid frequent obsessed beast looking out for snow. She loves the snow also, but doesnt go on forums etc discussing the potential. I love it.

It does feel like the temp has dropped here, so hoping for a whiteout later tonight. I am chuffed with Monday nights and Tuesday mornings event. Would be a bonus if we got more. If not then I am pleased for once to see snow here in Bridgend for many many a year. Fingers crossed everyone. Hope we all get to a snow event.

I am getting very confused over what I can expect overnight and into tomorrow. Rain/Sleet/Snow who knows. Metcheck says heavy snow, theres talk on here of rain. Anyone have any clue or is it a matter of wait and see what happens.

Morning All, no more snow for us in Bridgend overnight, looks like it may have rained a little. Interesting day coming up tomorrow when this Northerly comes down and hits us. Will it or won't it snow is the question. What are people's opinions on the prospect of another snow day tomorrow?
