    Evening all - im confused please help me - which way is this here snow coming from? Of the meteox link it looks like its coming up from SW but that blob your going on about is out in the North Sea so coming from the east yeah?     It's deffo strange out there it's still coming down its really windy but its dissapearing from the ground now!?! Not as in melting or wind blowing its just evaporating or something

    Snowing in Basildon really weird looks out ten mins ago was raining ok a little bit sleety but now decking is covered and the roofs all white!!

    Don't know how anyone can say its warm out I've been working outside most of the evening and it was easily the most coldest night I've experienced this week!!!! My head hurts to the point of pain from the cold on my forehead!!!!!

    Sorry but I want mild weather now two weeks of cold and no income coming in is more than enough for now remember the snow is fun but for some it affects home life too!

    It wasn't much to write home about anyway it was pretty to watch fall as it was proper feather flakes but it didn't settle and made everything more wet!!!! If it had been like that in Sunday it would have been awesome!!!!

    Tilly I've just read your post re your boy - take him to a&e if you can get there coz the doc who saw me was really angry with the triage nurse because she never had me seen straight away - because I was struggling to get my breath it could have been a lot worse seems the steroids r working my face is coming down slowly must admit when I was waiting for the van to be cleared of snow I was thinking maybe I should dial 999 and was cursing being so happy about having snow yesterday!!!

    Morning all had to brave the roads very early this morning after OH spent what seemed like forever clearing the van off as I needed an emergency trip to a&e seems I have an allergic reaction to some wallpaper paste I've been using to decorate my kids bedroom!! My face swollen triple the size it normally is, my eyes closed to a squint and I was having difficulty catching my breath some steroids and piriton through IV soon helped now I'm back in the warm again, was pretty scary must admit and I was cursing the snow for being so thick in my turning!!!

    My daughters just home after driving from teddington to Basildon took 2.5 hours but the m25 and a13 are fine atm overnight and tomorrow maybe a different story!

    My OH just taken my boy in his sledge to Gloucester park why not me you may think, well it looks like I've either got shingles or slapped cheek syndrome have a bright red face very sore tight cheeks that are itchy as hell, maybe an allergic reaction I don't know but I can't risk going out till I know for definite and although the cold will probably ease the pain I am feeling I doubt very much it would help either - so a snow day and I'm stuck in boo hoo
