    So are these really good? My OH has been going on and on the last week or two about one of these and I said just use a hand blender now I'm intrigued, a girl at work lost 2 stones in a couple of months juicing. Well done on your loss.

    Gotta feel for those on that plane and any others, coz it's now 2am Christmas Eve and they on their way back across the channel nowhere near gatwick . Anyway I'm going to bed now gonna try sleep again.

    Had to get up outta bed I've got the most awful headache, blurred vision too!!! I normally get headaches when there's a thunderstorm so I'm assuming this too is weather related!!! Meds and tiger balm not kicking in, so I've got up and come downstairs, friend on FB in Hastings has no power, fence panels gone and roof tiles slipping by the dozen! My huskies sleep outside in their lovely big kennel but tonight they indoors snoring on the floor in my bedroom, can't be trusted anywhere else in the house we would wake to the tree and presents eaten lol

    Its annoying me on FB that so many people are saying, its nothing compared to 1987, they forget that this time around, we have the technology to predict weather further ahead, we were all able to get prepared yesterday, we moved things, we brought pets indoors, we "battened down the hatches", 1987 was out the blue and was a shock to us all, where as last night we all sat waiting patiently. A 17yr old girl has died after a tree fell on the caravan she was sleeping in, a 14 yr old boy has died in the rough sea, 2 deaths, numerous trees fallen, fences ripped off, tiles missing from roofs - to me its just as bad as 1987 because theres been death and destruction!!!! Looking out my windows the sun is now shining, its still a bit blowy, but everything is still intact, thankfully. Anyway guys n girls, thank you for the updates yesterday, will see you no doubt soon for some of that white stuff over and out from Essex xx

    Easy jet plane circling above me I assume waiting to land at southend. Never seen one circle so low this way. Normally Gatwick planes which are much higher.

    Hubbie just took the huskies out for their nightly run, in his shorts as its so mild, then halfway round his 4 mile circuit the heavens opened, he is back soaked!!!!! huskies are now out in the garden cooling down before coming in for the night - normally they live outside in their big kennel, but not tonight, not risking it.

    Bit of advice please from those in the know, someone on facebook just messaged me in a right state, her daughter is at Butlins minehead and is staying with friends in a caravan, she is asking me how bad its going to be there, what can I tell her? I know further east is meant to be worse, but SW?

    Sheppy bridge is closed - My friend who was driving to deal tomorrow at 6am has decided to listen to me and has left now, shes just driven passed the sign saying the bridge has closed.
