Currently 16.6C (highest temperature so far today!) and drizzle. Next day please!

Showery start to the day today, had some early rumbles of thunder from the passing heavier showers to my SE. Overnight rainfall 2.2mm with a low of 11.1°C. Currently mostly cloudy, 16.5°C. Feeling humid even with the lower temperature.

High today was 20.9°C felts nice enough, even in the keen SW'ly breeze. Currently 15.0°C with a heavy shower. The shower in fact formed overhead as it was raining with nothing showing on the radar for the first 10 minutes! Appears some convection has started locally. Reminds me of autumn storms formed from the contrasting sea/land temperatures!

Fine start to the day, breezy but nowhere as windy as yesterday. Very dark skies to my South East as a shower passes by. Partly cloudy currently and 18.5°C. Winds W'ly at 7mph.

Dry since around 11am here today, but very windy for most of the afternoon. High today was 20.5°C. Calming down now with winds back down under 20mph, with gusts occasionally reaching 25-30mph. Now 18.0°C with partly cloud skies and breezy.

That is interesting to note, especially as ultrasonic anemometers are growing in popularity. I guess it was either localised wind gust or just my station over compensating the actual wind gust. Will be following this through the storm season in a few months time though, with great interest!

Very questionable with the sensor. However the wind gust at that time was strong, managed to slam a open stiff window!! Sadly do not have any other stations within close proximity of my area to compare to. But I'm happy to claim one of the highest wind gusts in the UK...

Just had the strongest wind gust of the day here, 61.7mph! Really does stick out.

Feeling not very summer like today, however at least it still has some warmth in the air! Currently 19.2°C, DP 14.3°C. 15.2mph winds from the South, gusting to 25mph at times.

44.7mph was my highest at 6.12am!

Just hit 30.9mph at 12.09am. Highest so far. Currently 17.4°C with ESE winds at 12.4mph.

Not as windy here either, current speed is 8.1 mph, gusting to 12 mph. Feeling warm in the sunshine though, currently 24.6°C with sunny skies.

Yeah found three hidden under the rain cup inside the sensor. Re-homed them and then blasted it with some silicone spray, hopefully that will hold for a month or so!

Have only recorded 0.1mm of rain here overnight, so checked the rain gauge... spider has decided to move in so an invalid result. Luckily I have a manual gauge that reported just 0.9mm here, so still very little. Currently 23.0°C and feeling humid, even in the breeze.

Partly sunny throughout today and fairly calm. Managed to spend some time wind proofing the garden just now, these winds are not good friends with patio furniture! Currently 23.5°C and feeling increasingly humid (DP 17.0°C / RH 68%).

Dry day here also, however the convergence line to my north is beginning to move slightly closer, so rain could be imminent! Temperature at 22.6°C.

Dry day here today also, cloudy and sunny spells was the theme today. Maximum temperature was 22.6°C with a keen WSW'ly wind. Stats from July paint the first above average month of the 3 summer months, with the average temperature being 18.9°C. This is 1°C above the 9 year average at my station. Some further stats: Highest Temperature: 34.4°C (25th) New Record for the station. Previous record of 31.2°C set in June 2015. Lowest Temperature: 9.6°C (16th) Rainfall: 15.51mm (Below Average)

Mostly sunny here with some occasional convection appearing. Currently 26.3°C, winds NE. Always a good direction locally for high temperatures!

First time I've seen this! Was recorded at 12.50am

Has been a rather disappointing day. Haven't seen much storm action, but again wasn't expecting much! We've had mostly drizzle showers, with the odd heavier burst on and off today, but only 1.7mm of rain has fallen! Currently Partly Sunny and 19.4°C, the highest so far today.

26.2°C was the high today around 5pm. Winds have been light from the NE all afternoon which always promotes a little micro-climate down here. Not expecting much tomorrow here, maybe a few showers. Wasn't expecting this, but still sat at 19°C and feeling pleasant with just a gentle breeze outside.

Another lovely day here today, partly sunny conditions throughout the morning and sunny skies this afternoon. High was 25.2°C at 4.30pm.

Compared to this week just gone, we have been sat under grey skies and light rain all night and morning. 4.5mm has fallen so far. Looks like its finally starting to march back eastwards now, as the rain is stopping and the skies are brightening. Currently 18.7°C with spits of rain.

A overnight low of 17.2°C here, slightly better than Tuesday nights low of 21°C! Mostly cloudy today, with the occasional sunny breaks. Feeling fresher today, but still on the humid side. Currently 24.2°C, DP 17.5°C

At 3.20pm today I reached 34.3°C, making it the highest temperature I've ever recorded in my short 9 years of weather station data. As soon as that was reached the sky clouded over and temperatures hovered around the 30°C for the rest of the afternoon. Currently 28.2°C and rising once again. Watching the Channel with interest storm wise now.
