    Just seen Carol's forecast and pretty much what I expected, we are not the driest area for nothing and was always going to struggle to get this far over

    St Ives snow shield held up ok on wednesday morning and all ready for its next test

    The recent snow certainly made it a good winter here after the disappointments of 2010/11 Agree with TEITS about the cold, it was hard work yesterday and my asthma is definitely not up to those temperatures. It will no doubt go quiet again here now, soon be spring and all the good things that brings, cheers for the company EA people

    Minus 10c here with some freezing fog, just took the birds breakfast out, nice bit of bacon fat in there today along with the usual seed, bread, spud etc Refilled the water bowl too, but think I will soon be out again taking the ice off the top, moggy not interested in the birds today and has settled down in front of the fire

    Just been outside for a pre bed check and its dripping well, need the colder air to push in so its crisp for the morning Showing 0.0 here and its dropping from the trees, think it will hold on alright though Cheers to all you satisfied people from the twilight zone of 2010, what chance of a hat trick this winter?

    Definitely breaking up over the Wash and reckon another hour if we are lucky, can't complain though Wonder if the kids will get a long half term out of this especially if it freezes up overnight?

    My cousin had some of that freezing rain a few years back in Minnesota, really not good and can actually bend metal pylons with the weight

    Approx 10cm in St Ives, maybe a tad more in places Saw the first bus leave for Cambridge down the Busway, no problem at all and actually looked quite good with snow blowing all over the place
