    It was really cold last night and was so lovely walking the dog in caldicot castle this morning. Gorgeous ground frost, little ice patches in the puddles and the sun was shining, lets hope we get some more days like this and fingers crossed some snow as well this winter

    Ãndy you little minx, your posts this afternoon are getting me excited about possible future snow prospects lol, I have tried to convince myself not to get excited this winter as last winter was total disaster for me, but unfortunately that big kid is still here and now I realise I have no way of ever not getting excited óf the prospects. fingers crossed for some great winter weather this year.

    I lived in Hanham at the time of that amazing blizzard, I was 11 at the time and it was truly magical. Remember trudging through all the snow with my dad and my friends to go to the local hills sledging. amazing times, just wish my son could experience this just ONCE like I did, he is 15 now and has never seen proper snow in this country like I did then.

    POURING down with rain...... really really heavy rain now. Can't believe our luck to be honest with you. I really need to have some hypnotherapy for this cold snow addiction, would be alot less painful in the long run lol. Update,,,, it appears to be turning sleety here... could be a good sighn? will keep you updated if anyone is still awake.

    quite alot of snow reports from the folks in bristol etc, fingers crossed. Lol. scrolled up and seen I was beaten too it.

    Only had a very slight covering on saturday which lasted a couple of hourse,,,, absolute tosh. This just seems to be a year where only a few seem to get anything. So depressing.

    I agree, very strange. To be honest looking at the radar though, I just cannot see this happening at all for any of us. I really hope I am wrong. This has been a really strange winter.

    Lol yes I agree. Yes I love Teits and when he said last night what he said, I did think UT OWE this is not looking good, but I agree, felt like nose being rubbed in it was not a nice feeling, but hey ho, it is only weather. Actually this could be quite exciting tonight, just would love a little covering of the white stuff, is this too much to ask? lol. Good luck.
