can't find my camera to put pictures on, but we have a lovely little covering here in Magor My son has made a snowball and has put it in the freezer lol. Looks really pretty. Keep it coming please. I know I am being greedy now but I love it.

As per normal nothing here. Hopefully bit later will see a bit of a blast, know it won't pitch and will turn to rain, but would still be lovely to see it fall more than just a few sleet flurries.... PLEASE even for 10minutes I am now well and truly DESPERATE

I have some white stuff falling from the sky No it wo't last BUT this is the first time I have seen it sice last year, so I am smiling.

All I remember was it started snowing, I was lamppost watching, and it snowed and snowed and the wind got wilder and wilder and all I could see was massive drifts of snow. Was absolutely amazing, I would love for my son to experience this just once like me and it was the most amazing childhood memory. My sisters are kim (kimberley) and lynn (sherralynn) Bryant.? Do you know the Bakers? Rendalls? people like that? Anyway,,,, Bring on snow like that again I say. Can't believe that nowadays we would all sale our grannys for just a few flakes. Lol, you will deffinately need that hat if one of you don't get any of the white stuff lol. Good Luck and have fun.

Yep, my two sisters and neighbours went to The Grange. My sisters are 7 years and 6 years older than me. I remember that HUGE snowfall we had when I was about 10, 6ft drifts, my dad had to did us out the back garden. Went sledging by Hanham Hall hospital, the big fields at the back... Gosh,, now that was what I call a Winter

Me too. born and bred Hanhamite ;-). Hanham High school girl here and christchurch primary one too.... small world eh?

Well, seeing how quiet it is in here says it all really . Looking like it will go milder again for the weekend (for how long who knows?) and not really looking great chances for snow either. bring on the summer.

Met office has issued severe weather alert 3 for whole of England for severe cold weather. Looks like at least the air is here now.

yep, I am with you. Actually, did not think I would say this as I am a winter weather geek lol, but I think I officially give up now. All the excitements and then dissappointments have finally got to me. Feel like I need to go to some sort of WGA meeting (weather geek annom) as this winter has really taken its toll on me. I have aged about 10years lol. Well done to all who did get the white stuff though.

Hey,,,, just realised how much I have missed this and the lamp post watching . Also have to say, I have noticed how the birds are going mad in the gardens, they are all so noisy and feeding and fighting for food, now I have not seen that this winter at all, in fact they have hardly visited the bird table..... Maybe they don't need weather charts and radars eh? unless their on TWITTER instead
