Looking at the radar, ive got a chance of catching the edge of a sleety shower in the next half an hour, although just looked out my window towards pembs and the sky is turning very dark.

Hello, not posted on these forums for a good while, but i thought i would add to the numbers here. I'm not expecting any snow at sea level around here, if it does i think the best chance would be Sunday night. I think the snow would be confined to hills to the north of the county, but who knows what surprises are lurking around the corner.

We have returned to normality here now - still raining but not as heavy, our gutter wasn't coping then too. Went to a holiday camp earlier in the day around here and the tourer field was like a bog. The thunder and lightning has passed now so it didn't amount to all that much with the lights flickering now and then although the wind has picked up now though, roll on winter, i think we get more drier and sunnier days in winter than summer now.

Very heavy rain here at the moment with thunder and lightning thrown in with it. Lost sky signal, some big puddles on the roads and now with this heavy shower, not a good night to be driving around.

I got caught in that heavy shower now with thunder and lightning, i feel sorry for all the people thats gone to the Ffos Las races. A t the back edge of it now and brightning up to the west with sun shining over the water. Been windy all day today feeling quite cool aswell.

Afternoon Been raining here for much of the afternoon so far, not seen any tv forecasts today, i even missed the CF forecast which i wanted to see, but going by the comments here could be an interesting week. Myself, i'm not expecting much in this part of the world down at sea level the hills could have something though. I don't understand MetO today though yesterday they were showing heavy snow for the Carmarthen area and Today they are showing just sleet for tomorrow night but we have a warning for heavy snow, but swansea and Pembrokeshire have heavy rain. Its got me confuzzled, not good for a Sunday.

The BBC and MetOffice have updated and upgraded Monday Night to Heavy Snow for this area, Metcheck also down for Heavy snow but then i never believe Metcheck but with the BBC and MetO onboard, just maybe.

Afternoon peeps Just looked out the window and there is a fresh covering of snow in fields on the hills around Llanmiloe between Laugharne and Pendine, they've had showers off and on all day, and another one has just blown in there now. We have had a few sleety-Hail showers here earlier, nothing else seems to be making its way here now on the radar, its just typical last night the showers were missing me to the east and today the showers are missing me the the west.

Im not hopeful of anithing here and if it does it won't stick, pembrey just recorder 2 degrees. Looking to the west of me looks to have stopped aswell, but just checked traffic Wales the A40 at St Clears has a slight covering of snow

Stopped here now, clouds breaking up, although looking down towards Laugharne way the sky looks full of it and it doesn't look like stopping there, looks like i've missed out again nothing stuck from that last shower and the ground is soaking wet.

After a short spell of rain it has just started to snow here in Kidwelly now, didn't have anything last night rain has washed some of the snow away which is making it harder to stick now. Whether it will stay falling as snow here is another matter in which i don't think it will.

Just had a quick look on the Traffic Wales cams and there is a covering of snow from Junction 47 to around junction 43, have they not gritted the motorway even.

True you could see the snow line this morning absolutely white on the top of the Gower and then ther looked as if there was nothing at sea level, in Llanelli there was nothing. Just had a look out now and i can see cloudy skies to the east of me and clear skies to the west and i'm just under the clear skies. Still have a light covering of snow in the back garden from about a couple of hours ago now. EDIT - Quoted the wrong message, i will get the hang of this, i hope

I know we missed out on last nights event, although on my way to work this morning Trim lookes like a scene from a Christmas Cards with the canopy of trees above the road lined with snow, and as i said earlier the roads in Pontantwn, 4 Roads and Mynydd were turning white and in Kidwelly cars had slight covering. I think I should move, I bet Pontyates is white aswell is it.

Oh good, but if it does get too heavy avoid goin out on the roads, they didn't forecast this for tonight though did they, i thought it was just Pembs that might catch a few flakes. It has stopped for time being here now.

Hi everyone First time poster here, i normally just read the Model Output thread but thought i'd join in here. Just got home from Carmarthen through Pontantwn and 4 Roads quite hefty showers that way and the gritters have not been out with the roads turning completely white in places, had a couple of showers here but not much light covering on cars but it is sticking straight away, any chance of more heavy showers on their way here in South Carmarthenshire.
