    thank you, i live in the town centre, however my mum lives in martlesham, so more towards the coast than me..... I have sworn by the raintoday radar this week, never seen the other website before.....showing a few showers for tonight too!

    I hate to ask, but... My mum keeps talking about being me being 'stuck' at hers over the weekend (I live in the town, she lives about 12 miles outside, however i realy on buses), as apparently weather forcasts today have been saying the we are going to recieve siginficant snow on saturday night into sunday.. can anyone clarify this for me, have scoured various internet sites and nothing siginifant at the moment is catching my attension

    snow has just picked up here in Ipswich again, has been snowing v.v.very lightly now for an hour....unless its the snow blowing off my building, havent actually ventured outside yet. Ipswich keeps appering on BBC1 as well....

    Snow still coming down in Ipswich, was large flakes, now back to little flakes, however beginning to settle nicely now, im happy just to see something falling out of the sky!

    Finally! For about the last 15 minutes light snowfall has been coming down in Ipswich It has over the last couple of minutes or so started to fall heavier and bigger flakes! I love it, the only problem is, I have a feeling its going to cause ONE HUGE headache for me at work....schools are due to attend tomorrow and all four of them have called to say that if it stays the same, they wont be coming!

    Ipswich does really seem to be the 'snow void zone', in suffolk... Have had people panicking calling up work (i work in theatre and have a show on tonight), from literally everywhere surrounding, felixstowe, colchester, clacton, apart from Ipswich..... A few flakes (quite literally!) have fallen, but that has been the lot....was really hoping for a covering for some nice photo opportunites tomorrow on my day off

    lol....im just a little bit norther than that, not far thou...so im hoping the big blow from the south will do its job! certainly some clouds forming!

    Have been without internet much of the day, as lost it last night, and have been out and about taking photos today as well as 'trying' to get the last bits for christmas done Can anyone tell me if Ipswich is due any more snow?, Im just wondering if mainly for toight and tomorrow morning. I have got to go to work, all ok for me as I can and will walk, but working in the theatre trade, its amazing how some people cant get on their feet and walk but insist on a refund!
