Is there the possibility or further storms tonight for the S.E, I saw mine earlier but it was around 10-15 miles away Nothing overhead this year. I must say I really enjoyed watching the system from the outside, lots of movement.

That's passed immediately overhead of me earlier, would that of caused it to get v.windy

Cell I have been watching is amazing, mushroom cloud'eque, Wind has gotten up some what and I saw a CG strike from the top of the cloud and out into a bluesky area. There was me thinking i was safe

Huge cell to my east, distant rumbles of thunder heard and one very brave 757 pilot who flew very slow. v.dark base with a brilliant white top. I think it's heading over this way. It's so close i have to look straight up to see the tops. Anyone in my area toward underneath it?

Yep, it absolutely honked it down and I heard a solitary rumble of thunder around 6:10. The sky to my west was v.impressive around 7:45 and it's getting v.warm out there so hopefully something will happen later.

How spooky is that, I've just taken the same pics as you <_< although mine were on my I-Phone. And if I'm correct your pictures are also taken looking towards Gatton :lol:

Few pics from this morning, mammatus isn't as impressive on the I-Phone.

Just popped out into the Garden and the system is now just off to my north and there is some fantastic Mammatus which appeared to be quite low until a 747 flew underneath it and I realised how high the c'base is <_<

Back end of the system is just passing over me, clear blue sky just to my south but the cloudscapes it's giving at the moment are awesome. What are the chances of anything else moving over the S.E later today?

Rumble of thunder here at 6:09 which has woken my daughter and dog up which means that I am now up after only 4hrs sleep........doh!

I'm only a few miles north of you here in Redhill and thought I saw a flash looking towards Crawley, can't believe how close it is at the moment, Couldn't goto sleep now even if i wanted to.
