Out of the action zone down here but thundery skies nonetheless. Also just to the right of the cruise ship you may spot the anvil from one of the Welsh borders storms!

A few monsters ongoing at the moment. Some of these radar returns indicate lots of Hail activity and a prolific lightning. The Current Arome sounding in the Southern Welsh storm suggests the chance of this being supercellular although this is borderline.

I just heard distant thunder and it is approximately 300 miles away from London. It should get here by the August bank holiday
