We have continued to have hazy sunny spells all afternoon

The morning and early afternoon were partly cloudy with some decent sunny spells coming through and feeling quite mild in the sun when it did show itself. Cloud thickened by mid-afternoon and sparked off a few showers, some of which were very heavy at times. Despite being another above average day temperature-wise, today was the coldest maximum I have recorded so far this April. Last night was also quite chilly, just escaping a ground frost despite a significant dew. Five days into the month and my April average is still extremely high. That should decrease in the next few days as the cold air digs in.
