    I am currently in school.

Had thunder at 1357 during some very torrential rain.

Then a flash of lightning and a further rumble at 1430.

There is currently a big CB moving East to West, is on top of Flint at the moment. No thunder yet though.

At about 1pm today a massive thunderstorm passed over us at school. Very heavy thunder at least 10 times and many flashes of sheet lightning. Heavy rain but no hail. It was impressive and caused a power cut at school.

Was working in Woking today some heavy thunder and lightning during the afternoon. At just before 5 o clock there was a huge clap of thunder and a near by CG strike that actually tripped the surge protectors on the pc’s. someone said it hit the building but I cant confirm that.

Having watched storms building in the distance all afternoon, and only getting sharp showers here, I had to go out to football (away) at 18.00. At that time a huge storm cloud seemed to be edging in from Salisbury Plain.

There was a spell of torrential rain between 1830-1930 and my parents counted 2 flashes of lightning and 2 rumbles of thunder.

Further showers have fallen since and there has been 5mm of rain.
