Taunton. Lovely sunny day - bit hazy at times but mainly clear. Max today 26C but it's already down to 11.2C and falling. Clear sky - probable low about 4C. No wind.

A very sunny day in Lancaster, unbroken sunshine, and pleasantly warm. I don't know what the maximum was, but it didn't really matter, it was warm enough!

I may be more a fan of convective, sunshine-and-showers weather, but I certainly appreciate days like today as well, they seem to raise people's moods and certainly the surroundings look ten times better in the sun.

After another cool start it quickly warmed up in clear skies with wall-to-wall sunshine and only small amounts cloud. The combination of low-20s temperatures, extremely low humidity and a slight breeze made it feel very pleasant indeed. Just the kind of summers day I like. This evening has remained clear but the humidity has gradually risen and the temperature is holding up. With a maximum of 22.9°C it is the warmest recorded maximum of June so far. Interesting to note was that on this day last year it was the warmest day of 2004, with 29°C reached in my location.
